Impact of RCEP on China's Aluminum Raw Material Import and Export
The import and export volume of primary aluminum is usually small, and in 2020 there will be a long-term profit on imports, resulting in a significant increase in primary aluminum imports during the year. As imports are not subject to tariffs, overseas primary aluminum can flow freely into the country, the source of imports accounted for a relatively large number of Russia, namely India, RCEP member countries are mainly Malaysia, Vietnam, some from Japan, South Korea and Singapore are mainly re-exports. RECEP has little effect on primary aluminum imports, and the strength of domestic and foreign aluminum prices regulates imports.
